Youtube Channel Changes - Youtube Links
Where to change the links after the fusion of Youtube channels
On 29th of January, the country Youtube channels will be closed and only the INT and DACH channels will remain. For those countries/sanctuaries where the changes are relevant, Digi Comms will coordinate with you which videos from your closing YT channel will be uploaded to the INT or DACH YT channel.
This will entail a high workload for all editors as not only the video links have to be exchanged but also all the links to the actual YT channel.
In this Editors Help page, we want to share with you all the subpages/elements where the link for the Youtube channel has to be replaced by you.
Please block yourself time to replace the Youtube channel links before 29th January, 2025.
Reminder
From 29th January 2025 onwards, these will be the two remaining YT channels:
- FOUR PAWS (International YT channel)

Important INFO:
If the SoMe links are not part of the META page, but a content element on your press release, that means a lot of work!
- to remove the current element on each press release
- Add SoMe links to the meta page
'Follow us' as part of a mission timeline (on country websites)
- Who: Editors
- Where: Hub > Mission promotion pages, e.g. Support Ukraine
- What: Check if a timeline was used and if one timeline item included 'Follow us'
