In the Content HUB, you will find many different folders with page types. When you create a new page, it is important to know which page type to choose. Watch our video to get a better understanding of all the different page types available, and when you can use each one.

Different page types

The most commonly used page types are:

  1. Article pages (Generally for animal fact pages, also used for small news type stories)
    Example: 10 Facts about Dogs
  2. Blog Posts (used for emotional stories, stories done by animal experts, Behind the Scenes in sanctuaries, etc.)
Examples: Behind the Scenes at FELIDA , No Land in Sight
  3. Publications and Guides (How to's, Christmas ideas, guides by FOUR PAWS experts)
Example: Finding an abandoned or lost pet
  4. Rescue Stories (only for animal rescues, this page type should only be used in Rescues and Success Stories)
    Example: Rescue Tu Do
  5. Press Releases (Showcasing when FOUR PAWS is in the media, Press Contact is at the bottom)
Example: European Parliament fails to tackle live animal transport
  6. Promotion Pages (Act as landing pages for a broader topic, leading to more articles through teasers -  They are used for mini campaigns.)
    Example: Pet Abandonment

As a country, sanctuary or campaign editor, the pages you likely DO NOT need to work with are:

  1. Job pages (these are mostly only done by the Website Team and are shared on the INT website only)
  2. Event pages (only used for some sanctuaries)
  3. Adoption pages (only used for Bulgaria)

Good to know: Home pages, landing pages, promotion pages and campaign pages are the only page types which allow for teasers, and hero slider images. These pages act as landing pages, with the teasers leading to subpages like articles, blog posts and so on.
Examples: FOUR PAWS Home (home page) Dog Cat Meat Trade Campaign (campaign page)
