The LIONSROCK Programme in The Environment and Sustainable Living is a five-day immersive programme held at our Sanctuary, focused on promoting Animal Welfare while fostering a deeper understanding of the interconnectedness between animals, humans, and the environment. Through a range of engaging activities, you will discover the significance of “One Welfare,” where the well-being of animals, people, and the environment are intricately linked. This is a basic course in environmental management for improved animal and human welfare.

The principle of One Welfare is giving way to the idea of a new unity; that a sustainable environment, animal welfare and human welfare may be compatible. This program is ideal for individuals or groups who are interested and wish to gain an in-depth understanding of the connection between human developmental needs and challenges, animal welfare, and the environment.

Individuals completing this program will be able to integrate animal welfare into the broader sustainable development paradigm. Participants will also gain in-depth understanding of a variety of environmental concepts.
