The LIONSROCK School Programme in Animal Welfare is a one-day immersive programme held at our Sanctuary, focused on promoting Animal Welfare while fostering a deeper understanding of the interconnectedness between animals, humans, and the environment. Through a range of engaging activities, you will discover the significance of “One Welfare,” where the well-being of animals, people, and the environment are intricately linked.

The programme is aimed at providing enriching learning experiences for children at basic education (school) levels. It has been designed to provide educational support through animal welfare, sustainable tourism and environmental sustainability.

The program applies innovative learning techniques to inspire and stimulate the creative abilities of the learners as they immerse themselves in animal welfare and sustainability issues. We have structured the programme into two slots per day to accommodate large school groups, different age groups and levels.
