Lionesses Tara, Sheeba and Ounooi

These lions once paced the narrow confines of captivity.

Tara and Sheeba, born in 2004, once paced the narrow confines of captivity. Their lives, intertwined by blood, bore the scars of an exchange between previous owners and a private breeder.

Ounooi, born in 2005, knew a different path. Hand-raised by the previous owner, she carried the legacy of LIONSROCK Big Cat Sanctaury within her.

When FOUR PAWS took over the property, Tara, Sheeba, and Ounooi found refuge.

Here, they roamed in their species-appropriate enclosures enjoying days filled with comfort and with the added company of a gorgeous male named Marin next door.
