Lioness Seeta in her species appropriate enclosure

Lioness Seeta

Seeta once roamed the lands of Jordan.

Seeta, born in February 2008, once roamed the lands of Jordan. Unfortunately, her life took a turn when an adult male injured her.

The Princess Alia Foundation (PAF) stepped in. They found Seeta as an injured lioness in desperate need of care. Her handler’s three attempts at stitching Seeta’s injuries were unsuccessful and left her with a deep wound. PAF negotiated, and Seeta was transferred to the New Hope Centre.

At LIONSROCK Big Cat Sanctuary, Seeta found solace. Her wounds, which were tended to by skilled veterinarian and animal caretakers, began to heal. Here, she now roams in her species-appropriate enclosure living a life of contentment.
