How to add a video to your page
Applicable for all content page types, inclduing Articles, Press Releases, Blog Posts, Promotion pages and more.
Videos are a great way to break up text on your page and engage visitors. Follow the steps to learn how to add one:
- Make sure the video you want to use is already in YouTube. (You can only add videos with a YouTube link).
- Open the page you want to add the video to in the NEOS Hub.
- Head to the Content Tree and add a Content Element, using the '+' symbol.
- Click the '+' in the Content Tree and select either the up or down arrow button, depending on where you want the video to be placed.
- Select the element 'YouTube Video'. Press apply.
- In the centre of the screen in the Content Canvas, you will see the YouTube element pop up.
- Go to the YouTube video page that you would like to add, and click on the 'Share' button underneath the video. Grab the second part of the link, after the '/' and copy that part of the link.
E.g. Copy only the bolded part: https://youtu.be/sxe5QMqxnA0 - Paste it to the YouTube ID in the inspector. (Which you will see after clicking on the YouTube element in the content tree/canvas). Press Apply.
- Press Publish
